INDICATIONS

Help4Skin Wound healing is a paraben-free hydrocolloid gel for the topical care of dry and oozing wounds. Help4Skin Wound healing is a medical device that indirectly promotes wound healing by controlling the wound microenvironment.

For use on dry and oozing wounds such as:

· wounds;

· incisions;

· scratches;

· skin abrasions and cracks;

· superficial burns.

May be for children over 2 years of age.

METHOD OF OPERATION

Help4Skin Wound healing contains acidic carbomer stabilized with carnosine (natural skin base peptide). Used on dry wounds such as abrasions and surgical wounds, it produces an occlusive effect: it inhibits moisture evaporation and reduces fluid loss through the epidermis.

Carnosine acts as a buffer for acidic polymers and as an antioxidant. Carbomer absorbs excess fluid from moist, oozing wounds, cools and softens areas of contact with patches and/or dressings. Does not stick to the wound.

COMPOSITION

Acid colloidal carbomer, carnosine, water, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

METHOD OF USE

For closed wounds:

· clean and disinfect the area to be treated;

· apply the product to the wound without touching the wound with the tip of the applicator;

· if necessary, apply a bandage or patch.

For open wounds:

· clean and disinfect the wound;

· dry the wound with sterile gauze with gentle pressure;

· cover the wound with a thick layer of the product (0.5-0.75 cm), without touching the wound with the applicator tip;

· apply a bandage or patch;

· change the bandage or patch at least once a day by reapplying the gel;

· reduce the amount of product used when a scab forms on the wound.

Note! First of all, wash the burn wounds with water, continue with the steps listed above.

Help4Skin Wound healing is not a primary treatment for burns! After a burn, immediately cool the wound under lukewarm running water for about 20 minutes. This should be done as soon as possible, as the positive effect diminishes and disappears after 30 minutes. In order to avoid hypothermia, it is not recommended to use cold water, especially on large burn areas. Only then use Help4Skin Wound healing, after properly assessing the degree of the burn. Help4Skin Wound healing can be used on superficial epidermal and/or dermal burns, usually characterized by swelling, redness and blistering.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the excipients. Skin irritation has been reported in very rare cases. If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, stop using the product immediately.

Do not use Help4Skin Wound healing on the face, eyes, eyelids and mucous membranes.

Always consult your doctor:

· when the wounds are large, wide or very deep;

· when the wounds are heavily infected;

· when wounds heal slowly or there is a risk of complications.

In such cases, Help4Skin Wound healing is used only as an auxiliary tool, which must be combined with other treatments.
