Le Charme constitue un grand remède de la carence plaquettaire (thrombopénie). Il normalise le temps de saignement, augmente le nombre de plaquettes ainsi que leur qualité cytologique (agglutination). Ces thrombopénies peuvent être acquises par splénectomie, par réaction auto-immune et par immuno-allergie médicamenteuse.
Les thrombopathies sont surtout post-médicamenteuses, notamment les intoxications par les anticoagulants. Le Charme est un antihémorragique, utile dans les purpuras et les hémorragies par anticoagulant (alors associé au Cornouiller).
Le Charme élimine le cholestérol et agit dans l'athérosclérose. Il est recommandé dans les insuffisances hépatiques, l'urémie, l'uricémie.
Au niveau respiratoire, il agit comme antispasmodique et présente une action spécifique sur la muqueuse sinusale. Il constitue un excellent remède des sinusites, des rhinites spasmodiques et des bronchites chroniques.
Au niveau articulaire, le Charme agit sur les périarthrites noueuses post-médicamenteuses et dans la polyarthrite chronique évolutive.
