Sinupret Extract, 160 mg, 20 sugar-coated tablets is a herbal medicine used to treat acute, uncomplicated inflammation of the paranasal sinuses in adults.

Action
This drug thins the mucus, reducing swelling of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.

Indications
A herbal medicinal product indicated for use in adults in the treatment of acute uncomplicated inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (acute uncomplicated inflammation of the rhinitis and paranasal sinuses) with symptoms such as runny nose, nasal obstruction, headache, pain or feeling of facial distension.
It should be taken after meals with a glass of water.

Use of the drug in children
The use of Sinupret Extract in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.

Pregnancy
For safety reasons, the administration of Sinupret Extract should be avoided during pregnancy.

It is not known whether the active substances of Sinupret extract are excreted in human milk. Sinupret extract should not be used during breastfeeding.

Dosage
Always take Sinupret Extract exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Recommended dose:
Adults take 1 sugar-coated tablet 3 times a day (maximum 3 sugar-coated tablets a day).

Method of administration
Sinupret Extract should be swallowed with liquid (e.g. a glass of water), without crushing or chewing, 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening). If the patient has a sensitive stomach, he should take Sinupret extract after meals.

Duration of treatment
Unless otherwise specified, the duration of treatment is 7-14 days. If there is no improvement within this time or symptoms persist after this time, please consult your doctor.

If you skip taking Sinupret extract
If you have taken too little Sinupret Extract by mistake or if you have forgotten to take Sinupret extract, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose, but continue to take Sinupret Extract as directed by your doctor or as described in this leaflet.

Stopping taking Sinupret Extract
Stopping the use of Sinupret Extract is usually harmless.
